The Written Remains Writers Group
The Written Remains Writers’ Group, founded in 1995, meets monthly at the historic Greenbank Mill in Wilmington, Delaware. Our membership is diverse and we welcome writers working in a variety of genres: fiction, non-fiction, stage/screenplay and journalism and writing in a variety of forms: novel, short story, essay, novella, and feature article. At monthly meetings we review manuscripts, study and discuss writing craft and process, and occasionally do free writing or writing practice together. We host one or two workshops during the year, offer an annual writers' retreat for our members, as well as other writing related activities.
Inquirers' meetings for prospective members are held once per quarter or as needed. At the present time we are at member/inquirer capacity. If you are interested in joining the writers' group and would like your name placed on the Inquirers' waiting list, please email the Writers Group. We will notify you as soon as an opening becomes available.
